Ferns fight back to beat Bridge

Bridge Rovers lost for the first time this season when Ferns United fought back from a goal down to win 2-1 in Castlebridge on Sunday.

Oisín Firman gave the home side an early lead but Ferns rallied and collected the three points thanks to goals from Ivan Meegan and Martin Redmond.

It's very congested at the top of the table, and Curracloe United put themselves among the pacesetters with a 4-3 win away to St. Leonards.

Seán 'Mini' Ryan and Matty Flynn hit the back of the net for the hosts, but the seasiders took the spoils with goals for Adam Whitmore (two), Robbie Staples and Craig Parker.

Paul 'Roddy' Doyle and Michael Rossiter got the goals for St. Cormac's as they won 2-1 away to Taghmon United, while Wexford Bohs and Corach Ramblers drew 1-1, with Derek Bergin scoring for Bohs and M.J. Doran responding for Corach.

Tombrack and St. Joseph's also collected a point apiece after a 0-0 draw.
