Five-star Moyne too good for Rangers

Moyne Rangers are looking strong at this early stage of the season and on Sunday they registered their second 5-0 win in succession when overwhelming Gorey Rangers.

Joshua O'Byrne netted a double for the Enniscorthy side, while Pa O'Rourke, Ciarán Walsh and Niall Thorpe added a goal apiece.

Adamstown are also riding high after crushing Fastnet Rovers 6-0, with Conor Hickey helping himself to a hat-trick, Ian White chipping in with a double and Tom Shannon grabbing their other goal.

North End are also sitting pretty on six points after edging out Ajax Athletic 2-1, with Danny Fitzpatrick and 16-year-old Brandon Sinnott getting the goals.

Jamie O'Dowd bagged a hat-trick for Shelburne in their 4-1 win over Crossabeg. Chris Connick got their other goal, while Barry Coughlan replied for the visitors.

Stoney Rovers got their season up and running with a 3-1 win away to Shamrock Rovers. Abraham Ali and Jamie O'Grady (two) got the goals for the winners, with Jack Dempsey replying for Rovers.
