Wexford's Under-14 Kennedy Cup squad travelled to Limerick University on Sunday played their first game yesterday (Monday).

The five-day tournament will finish on Friday, June 12, with all 32 leagues affiliated to the Schoolboys Football Association of Ireland participating.

The Wexford boys kicked off their Group 8 campaign at 6 p.m. yesterday when they took on the Midlands League.

They will then play a further two games today (Tuesday) against South Dublin Football League at 12.30 p.m. and then the Carlow League at 6 p.m.

Tommy Byrne would like to sincerely thank all of the clubs who provided their pitches for training throughout the three years and all of the parents for their support, as well as all of the sponsors who gave financial assistance to the team.
