A 94th minute winner courtesy of Michelle Darcy broke Tombrack hearts and sent the Gaynor Cup on its way to Boolavogue on Sunday.

St. Cormac’s trailed by a goal at the interval but a rousing second half showing sent them on their way to victory at the expense of the Ferns women.

Kellie McGuires deflected free gave Tombrack a 1-0 lead at the break but Sharon Walsh and Mary Martin will regret not extending United’s lead further.

Substitute Shannon Murphy made an instant impact as she levelled the score on the hour mark before Darcy’s late strike sealed a come from behind win for St. Cormac’s.
