Moyne miss out

Moyne Rangers kept the title race alive until Sunday, by seeing off Shamrock Rovers and Courtown Hibs in midweek.

They came out on top 3-1 in the Enniscorthy derby thanks to two penalties from Peter Marsden and a Conor Bruce goal, while they saw off Hibs 4-1, with Richie Farrell (two), Tomás Mahon and Conor Bruce getting their goals.

On Sunday they overcame Rosslare Rangers 2-0 with goals from James Peare and Ryan Mahon, but North End's win over Courtown meant their title race was run.

Rosslare Rangers now face Tombrack in the Premier Division promotion/relegation play-off next Sunday.
