Murphy double earns points for Rovers

Bridge Rovers moved back to the top of Division 1 on Sunday as they made it four league wins out of four.

Kevin Murphy was the match-winner for the Castlebridge side, as his double earned them a 2-0 win. St. Joseph's, the leaders going into the weekend, suffered a 4-1 reverse away to Wexford Bohs, with Seán Pailing and Dermot Flood both netting doubles for the town side and Gary O'Leary replying.

A Matty Flynn double earned St. Leonards a 2-0 win over St. Cormac's, while Ferns United won 5-1 away to Taghmon United thanks to goals from Jonny Dwyer, Frankie Devereux, Martin Redmond, Ivan Meegan and Ryan Nolan.
