Champions North End United dropped their first points of the season as they were held to a 1-1 draw away to Moyne Rangers on Sunday.

However, things could have been worse for the Wexford town side as it took a Jason Murphy goal ten minutes from time to earn them a share of the spoils.

After a scoreless first-half, Peter Marsden gave the Enniscorthy outfit the lead but Murphy earned North End a point with an 80th-minute equaliser.

Gorey Rangers were far to strong for Ferns United netting a magnificent seven with David Behan (3), Joe Bolger (2), Eoin Kinsella and Adam Terrett getting the goals (see report).

Courtown Hibs earned their first points of the season when overcoming Kilmore United 2-1, with Michael Kinsella and Steven Maloney getting their goals and David Millar replying for Kilmore.

Campile were also on the right side of a 2-1 scoreline, picking up three points away to New Ross Celtic.

Dale Flynn and Owen Rowe gave them a 2-0 advantage and although Ross Celtic halved the deficit late on Campile held on to collect the points.
