It's not just among the playing ranks that Wexford is making its mark in the current SSE Airtricity Premier Division.

Three of the four officials for Saturday's clash between Bray Wanderers and Sligo Rovers in Carlisle Grounds hailed from the Model county, with the game refereed by Seán Grant.

He was joined by assistant referees Michelle O'Neill and Brian 'Boppy' Fenlon, and the only odd one out was Dubliner Paul Tuite who was the fourth official.

And they got a look at Wexford Youths' next opponents this Friday at their very best, with Bray blitzing Sligo 4-0 to collect their first home since last August.

Meanwhile, the draw for the second round of the EA Sports Cup took place at FAI headquarters during the week, and Wexford Youths will be on the road to Limerick for their pool one encounter.

The winners will advance to the quarter-finals, with the game due to be played on Monday or Tuesday, April 18 or 19.
