Division 1: Mark Rossiter started the new year with a bang as his four goals helped St. Leonards to a 5-4 Division 1 win over bottom side Taghmon United on Sunday. Seán Ryan got the other goal for the winners as they thwarted a brave Taghmon effort.
Leaders Ferns United saw off St. Joseph's 6-2 in Kilmuckridge, while Aaron Lambert and Seán Pailing got the goals for Wexford Bohs as they beat St. Cormac's 2-1.
North End United closed to within two points of leaders Moyne Rangers thanks to a 3-1 win over Shamrock Rovers on Sunday.
Leon Nolan-Cullen, Paul Murphy and Danny Fitzpatrick got the goals for the winners, with Willie Dobbs replying for Rovers.
Pacesetters Moyne suffered only their third loss of the season when they were beaten 2-1 by Stoney Rovers.
