Rosbercon net seven
NEWCOMERS ROSBERCON got off to the perfect start, netting a magnificent seven in their opening day win over Curracloe. Louis O'Neill and Johnny Hanley netted doubles, with man of the match Paudie Murphy, Liam Donnelly and Michael Dowling adding a goal apiece.
Kilmore edged out Orrill 4-3 with goals from Devin Furlong, Shane Cassidy (two penalties) and Seán Bates. Ciarán Kehoe was amongst the scorers for Orrill.
Tombrack won 2-1 away to Castledockrell with goals from Tom Kearney and James Owens, while Camolin beat Ballymurn 10 and Rosslare Port edged out Cloughbawn 3-2.
Elsewhere, Cathal Walsh scored from the penalty spot for Fethard Rangers but they lost 4-1 to Bridge Rovers.
