Rosslare Rangers and Moyne share the spoils

Premier Division: Rosslare Rangers and Moyne had to settle for a point apiece after an entertaining encounter in Rosslare on Sunday.

Mark Furlong, Paul Culleton and Lee Devereux hit the back of the net for the seasiders, with Tomás Mahon, Peter Marsden (penalty) and Conor Bruce replying for the Enniscorthy side.

The spoils were also shared in the only other game to be played in the division, with Gorey Rangers and Ferns United deadlocked at 2-2 after the 90 minutes.

Jonny Dwyer netted both goals for Ferns while Joe Bolger also helped himself to a double to earn Rangers a point.

Division 3

North End United moved four points clear at the top of Division 3 when they edged out Rosbercon 2-1 on Sunday.

Barry Ryan got the goal for the New Ross outfit.

Division 3A

Camolin overcame All Blacks 2-0 in the only game to survive the weather in Division 3A on Sunday.

Eugene Kenny was the match-winner, netting both goals for his side.

L.F.A. Junior Shield

Two Wexford sides were in action in the L.F.A. Junior Shield on Sunday and unfortunately both teams went down to narrow defeats.

Ian Gaffney, Nicky Sinnott (penalty) and Colin Whelan got on the scoresheet as Cushinstown were edged out 4-3 by Corduff in their second round tie, while in the third round Caim lost by a single goal in Portarlington.
