There was mixed results for the Wexford representatives in the O'Neill's LFA Junior Cup first round at the weekend.
Premier Division pacesetters Shamrock Rovers were on the road against Baltinglass Town and they registered a 2-0 win with goals from Alan Freeman and Emmet Quirke.
North End United also earned a 2-0 victory after a tough test against Trim Celtic at Hollygrove.
The sides were tied at 0-0 at the interval but Shane Dempsey broke the deadlock in style when he superbly fired the ball into the corner of the net from the edge of the area after a Lee Smith header had been parried by the goalkeeper.
Paul Murphy doubled North End's advantage when he was put through on goal by his brother, Jason.
Gorey Rangers were another Premier Division side who had that winning feeling as they overcame Monksland United 4-3 at Ramstown.
David Behan and Eric Quinn scored a goal apiece while Joe Bolger chipped in with a double.
Courtown Hibs, who also ply their trade in Wexford's top flight, had Eugene O'Brien to thank for their 1-0 win away to Wicklow Town, and New Ross Celtic won by the same scoreline in Bushy Park against Terenure Rangers, with Paudie Cullen getting the goal.
Campile United had that extra bit of class as they won 4-2 away to Bridge Rovers but it took extra-time to separate the sides.
Jamie Myler and Eric Banville got on the scoresheet for the visitors and Aaron Mythen added a double.
Things didn't go quite as well for other Premier Division sides, however, with Curracloe United suffering a 7-1 drubbing at home to Knocklyon United, while Moyne Rangers were edged out 2-1 away to Mountmellick United.
Forth Celtic won the all-Wexford clash against Shelburne United in Ballywilliam 5-2 with goals from Anthony Hayes, Jake Firman, Darren Jordan, Darragh Rossiter and Kevin Price, while Killenagh edged out Tombrack 4-3 with Jamie Walsh and James Coleman (two) scoring for the losers.
Fastnet Rovers weren't popping open the bubbly after losing 3-1 away to Pioneers F.C.
Enniscorthy Town lost 2-1 to Alpine Oldchurch F.C. while it was a day to forget for Taghmon United as they lost 10-0 away to Hanover Harps.
Moyne Rangers 'B' suffered a 5-4 defeat on penalties after draw 2-2 with Raheny United, while New Ross Town lost 2-1 at home to the wonderfully named Doddervale Orwell F.C.
Adamstown were awarded a walkover by Killeigh Ramblers while St. Cormac's handed a walkover to Clara Town and Coolgreany Celtic also failed to travel for their first round tie against Mullingar Town.
