Taghmon off the mark

Taghmon United earned their first point of the campaign after an eight-goal thriller against St. Joseph's in Kilmuckridge.

Joey Cardiff, Brian Doyle, Jamie Cahill and Chris Anglim all got on the scoresheet for Taghmon, while promotion hopefuls Joey's replied with a Seán Keane double and goals from Peter Mitten and Dean Winston.

There was less goalmouth action in Murrintown as a second-half strike from Robbie Staples earned Curracloe United the points against Forth Celtic.
