Taghmon United hit Enniscorthy Town for six

TAGHMON UNITED were the big hitters in Division 2 on Sunday, winning 6-1 away to Enniscorthy Town with goals from Andy Doyle (2), Seamie McLoughlin, Ger Power, Pascal Waters and Danny Stenning.
Gorey Celtic also recorded a comprehensive win, seeing off St. Joseph's 4-1 with Paul Timmins, Shane Roche (2) and Terry Carey getting on the scoresheet and Paul Nangle replying for Joey's.
A Conor Keeling goal was enough for Crossabeg to edge out Cloughbawn, while Stoney Rovers returned from Enniscorthy with the points after beating United 2-1 with goals from Keith Kearney and Garry O'Brien, with Darren Walsh on target for the hosts.
Kilmore United and Moyne Rangers drew 2-2 with Joey Colfer and Daithí Moore on the mark for Kilmore and Kenelm Morrissey and Evan O'Rourke (penalty) replying for the Enniscorthy men.
Gorey Rangers and Corach Ramblers also collected a point apiece from the opening day action after a scoreless stalemate.
