Three from three for Bridge Rovers

Bridge Rovers made it three wins from three in Division 1 with a hard-fought victory in Tombrack on Sunday.

Shane Murphy and Kevin Murphy got the goals for the Castlebridge side as they overcame their opponents 2-1.

Last year's Division 2 champions St. Joseph's will have their sights set on silverware again this season and they overcame Corach Ramblers 1-0 thanks to a Brendan McCreary goal at the weekend.

Ferns United got their season up and running with a 5-0 win away to St. Leonards.

Robert Vickers and Conor Jordan both netted doubles, with Martin Redmond adding their other goal. Lee Busher got the only goal of the game as Forth Celtic edged out Taghmon United, while Curracloe United won 6-0 way to Wexford Bohs.
