Next Sunday will see the Wexford and District League Under-18 squad travel to Limerick to take on the home side in the opening game of the FAI Under-18 Inter-League.

At the time of going to print, this game will be either a 3 p.m. or 3.30 p.m. kick-off in Jackman Park in Limerick or Dooradoyle.

Manager Alan Browne has selected his squad which will be announced on the website on Wednesday and he is delighted with the calibre of player that has made themselves available for this crucial opening group game.

This is quite a difficult group with four of the largest leagues grouped together, with Cork and M.G.L. (Dublin) the other two sides in contention.

Top two from the group will qualify for the national semi-finals and this is a feat that is well achievable for this group of talented players.

All involved in Wexford soccer wish Alan, his management team and his squad of players the best of luck for this game.
