Wexford Youths to take on Shelbourne at Tolka Park

Wexford Youths travel to Tolka Park this evening, Friday, April 10, on the back of three consecutive wins with last weeks' away victory over Athlone Town coming courtesy of a 49th minute Aidan Keenan strike.
Last season's meetings with Shels saw the Youths claim four points, all of which came at Ferrycarrig Park. The last time Wexford Youths tasted victory at Tolka Park was on May 21 in 2010, when Noel O'Connor's team came from behind thanks to a David Breen penalty and Shane Dempsey free kick which helped us to a 2-1 victory.
On the team front, the Youths go into this game without injured duo Dean Broaders and Stephen Last. Both are two weeks away from a return to first team consideration. Andy Mulligan returned to training this week after a hamstring strain and is pushing for a recall to the squad.
There are injury concerns over Craig Comerford who injured his back in last week's win over Athlone, while Craig Wall (ankle) and Eric Molloy (foot) will face late assessments.
Wexford Youths haven't won at Tolka park since 2010 but the Youths put in a fantastic performance to outclass a much fancied Athlone side last week and with nine points now on the table, Wexford Youths fans can look forward to a very competitive game in the capital.
Kick off in Tolka Park is 8pm.
