Wexford Youths F.C. will be running an Easter training academy for boys and girls from seven to twelve years old.

It will be staged at Ferrycarrig Park from 11 a.m. to 3.30 p.m on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, March 29, 30 and 31, and the cost is €40 per child.

Coaching sessions will be run by team manager Shane Keegan who will be helped by members of the club's SSE Airtricity Premier Division team. There will be lots of fun and challenges in a series of skills workshops, with an exciting three days in store.

Register your interest by e-mailing or text EasterCamp to 087-6751513.

Interestingly, the Youths Under-19s were opposed by Gorey's Corey Chambers and Rathgarogue's Eoin Porter when they beat Waterford United 3-0 on Saturday.

It was a busy week for netminder Chambers as he was seen at his very best in Arklow on St. Patrick's Day when the Republic of Ireland Under-18 schools team played a scoreless draw with Northern Ireland in the Centenary Shield.

Chambers and his colleagues will next visit England on April 8, before Scotland come to Killarney six days later.
