Wexford Youths are still seeking their first SSE Airtricity Premier Division points after suffering a second successive 2-0 loss, this time to Shamrock Rovers, in Tallaght Stadium on Friday, March 11.

Wexford Youths 0 Shamrock Rovers 2

The visitors went toe to toe with their much-vaunted rivals before conceding a 60th minute goal when Graham Doyle couldn't control Brandon Miele's free kick at the angle of post and crossbar, and Danny North was on hand to fire home from close range.
Paul Murphy forced Barry Murphy into a superb save when Youths' best chance arrived in the 78th minute.

And a late goal was conceded for the second league game on the trot when  Lee Grace lunged at Mikey Drennan in the box after a good Graham Doyle save from Miele, and Rovers captain Gary McCabe tucked the penalty high into the net in the 89th minute.
Youths won't have time to lick their wounds as they host holders Dundalk in Ferrycarrig Park on Monday at 8 p.m.
