Awards for the food and drink champions
THREE Wexford eateries won top billing in Leinster in the 2017 Irish Restaurant Awards.
They are Greenacres, Wexford: Best Wine Experience; Wild & Native Seafood Restaurant & Wine Bar, Rosslare: Best Casual Dining and Mary Barry's Bar, Kilmore: Best Gastro Pub.
More than 900 restaurateurs and staff attended the awards night at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, last week, celebrating the hard work and achievements within the industry over the last 12 months.
County Wexford establishments shortlisted in the 2017 awards were: Pub of the Year, Simon Lambert and Sons; Best Newcomer, Mi Street Food; Best Wine Experience, Greenaces; Best Customer Service, The Riverbank House Hotel; Best Casual Dining, Wild and Native; Best Gastro Pub, May Barry's Bar; Best Chef, Paul Hynes, La Cote Seafood Restaurant and Best Kids Size Me, Seasons Restaurant, Whitford House Hotel.
