Those who had emigrated from Wexford are encouraged to make the return and start a business in Ireland as part of the Back for Business developmental programme which is in its third year.

Running from January to July, Back for Business is peer led and about entrepreneurs supporting each other which aims to foster the business activity of returned emigrants or those planning to return to Ireland in the near future.

Suitable applicants will be those who have recently started a new business in Ireland, or those who are well advanced in their plans to start a business and have moved well beyond the concept stage.

Also those who are becoming entrepreneurs through the acquisition of an existing business such as if a business is newly established, it will not have generated sales before the end of October 2017.

There is no restriction on the sector in which the business is focused and no charge for those selected to participate.

A detailed brochure is available online at backforbusiness.com and the deadline for completed applications is January 7 the coming year.
