Bridgetown students are right on the money
Transition year students at Bridgetown College learned how to manage their money by taking part in the Junior Achievement Learn to Earn Programme.
Supported by Bank of Ireland, the five-week initiative taught students about financial planning and budgeting, credit, saving and investing, insurance and how to protect from identity theft. The programme was carried out by business volunteers Patrice Byrne and Kirsty Little from Bank of Ireland.
Over the course of five weeks, the students learned about various topics through the use of interactive games and activities. All of the students involved received a certificate to mark their completion of the course.
