Enniscorthy based firm Freshtoday were delighted to row in behind Wexford GAA as they signed on as official corporate sponsors at Wexford Park last week.

The company, based on the Old Dublin Road, was established in 2010 with the goal of providing high quality school lunches. Starting out just servicing the Enniscorthy schools, the company has gone from strength to strength and employs over 40 people to provide healthy school lunches to over 200 schools nationwide.

There were hopes that the Wexford hurlers will follow a similar trajectory this year as Rory McCauley and Brian McGee of Freshtoday met with senior hurling manager Davy Fitzgerald, U20 hurling manager MJ Reck, Vice-Chairman of Wexford GAA Micheál Martin and one of Wexford's brightest prospects Seamus Casey.

Managing Director Brian McGee said that 'it's an honour and a pleasure to be involved with such a fantastic organisation that is such an integral part of the community'. He added that the facilities that the GAA provide across the county are vital to children living a healthy and active lifestyle - something which is core to their thinking as a company.

Freshtoday were also on hand at the finish line of the Wexford GAA Wellness week fun run in recent weeks to distribute some much welcomed drinks and snacks to participants and their logo will now proudly be displayed on the hoarding at the side of the Wexford Park pitch.
