Gorey fitness centre wins bronze medal at awards

Wexford was well represented at the Nutramino Health and Fitness Awards last Friday night with one gym taking home a bronze medal.

Gorey company The Stables Health and Fitness was shortlisted in two categories while personal trainer Clara O'Connor was also nominated in another category.

The Stables Fitness and Wellbeing were shortlisted in the Boutique Health and Fitness Club category and the Family Friendly Gym category. Clara O'Connor from Swing and Spin in Rosslare was shortlisted in the Personal Trainer of the Year (freelance) category.

At the awards ceremony the Stables Fitness and Wellbeing picked up a bronze medal in the Family Friendly Gym category.

The inaugural awards which were hosted by fitness advocate Vogue Williams brought Ireland's top health and fitness professionals together.

The awards acknowledged accomplishments in the health and fitness industry, promoting and inspiring healthy Irish communities and future health and fitness professionals. They aimed to recognise the outstanding work of instructors, trainers, fitness programs, gyms and corporate facilities.
