Happy Pear duo David and Stephen Flynn were on hand to officially launch the very first standalone Dacia showroom in the country in front of an enthusiastic crowd at the Kerlogue Business Park.

Having been awarded Dacia Dealer of the Year for the last two years at the Renault Ireland National Dealer Awards, Menapia Motors were delighted to officially open the doors to the new state of the art, eight car showroom and workshop which is located next door to their Renault showroom on the Rosslare Road.

The opening has also seen increased employment with the addition of five new staff members and they were delighted to welcome customers inside for an entertaining cookery demo with the Happy Pear.

Always up for a laugh, the duo had great fun with audience of some 60 people and even dragged a couple of unwitting audience members up on stage to join in a pancake flipping contest.

The day also saw plenty of entertainment for the little ones with Bricks 4 Kidz and there was also a competition which saw a lucky winner scoop a weekend away in a Talbot Collection Hotel.

'We are thrilled to announce the opening of Ireland's first dedicated Dacia showroom at Menapia Motors,' said Sales Manager Paul White.

'This expansion is a testament to the continued popularity of the Dacia brand amongst Irish customers. I would like to thank The Happy Pear and our customers that helped make our new showroom launch a memorable day. We're looking forward to a busy remainder to 2019.'
