Husband and wife Damien and Bianca Keane have been living in Coolgreaney, Gorey for the past six years and are all set to introduce their new business, Keane Spaces, on April 12 at the Ideal Home Show at the RDS in Dublin. The couple of nine years are putting their talents together for the first time, combining Damien's skills in garden design and Bianca's artistic ability in stained glass decorating.

Based at the Old School House in Coolgreaney, Damien has over 20 years of experience in garden design and first discovered a passion for gardening growing up in county Wicklow. At the young age of 12, he began helping his father Philip Keane working in their garden. He fondly remembers bringing the business to Wexford, and said that the local people are always 'very friendly'. The award-winning designer added that 'There's a bit of a gap in the market for people who want to do something big in their smaller gardens'

Bianca, who is currently pregnant with the Keanes' second child, is looking forward to the new business venture with her husband. She feels like the family are now 'coming full circle'. The pair say they are really looking forward to showcasing their work at the Ideal Home Show, and they explained that family is something very important to them, as they always like to work with the needs of their clients and bring their individual ideas to life. The Keane Space service can range in price from €5,000 to €30,000, and the family-run business caters for all requirements from building to aftercare.
