the Riverside Park Hotel has been awarded a prestigious award to mark its attention to detail with regard to customer service.

The staff in the hotel were acknowledged for their professional excellence when they were presented with a Fáilte Ireland 'customer service excellence award'.

The hotel is highly regarded for the quality of its service to its clientele and that reputation was compounded by the award.

Staff from the hotel participated in training initiatives organised through Fáilte Ireland which highlighted aspects of customer service.

Receiving the award is a major achievement for the hotel as the process involves continuous monitoring meaning top quality performance levels have to be maintained at all times.

To win the award the hotel had to show that a minimum of 75 per cent of management and staff had completed the Fáilte Ireland accredited service excellence programme.

In addition to the overall customer service excellence award each member of the team in the hotel who participated in the programme was eligible to receive a commitment to service excellence pin badge.
