Marianne Early of Munchkins Toy Shop on Gorey's Main Street was announced last week as the highly appropriate winner of the most recent round of Gorey Chamber's Ulster Bank Outstanding Customer Care and Service award.

Marianne won the award for the period which covered the final quarter of 2016. The mystery judge commented that Marianne was 'a very worthy winner, being most helpful and friendly.'

Congratulating her on her win, Harry Riordan, manager of Ulster Bank, Gorey, commented that they were 'delighted that Marianne and Munchkins won this quarter's award.'

'Our hope is to continue to impress on all business the need to keep their focus on customer care and service,' he said.

Marianne was presented with a framed certificate and G-Vouchers.

'We would ask each and every business to make one business resolution this year and that is simply to commit themselves to improving their current level of customer service,' added Gorey Chamber CEO Dick White.
