Byrne's Bookshop has seen an increase in footfall since relocating to 88 Main Street in Gorey, which was formerly John Nolan's.

After well-known business John Nolan's closed down in May after 41 years, owner Damian Byrne of Byrne's Bookshop decided to move there from their former location of 39/40 Main Street. He said it was a brilliant decision and business has been booming since the new move.

'We are busier than ever since locating to the centre of Gorey town,' said Mr Byrne. 'We have seen an increase in our footfall since opening, we couldn't be any happier.'

Byrne's Bookshop Gorey reopened on Saturday to the public, and the new branding and look of the shop has been very well received by everyone.

'It is one of the first premises in Wexford to have the new grey and blue branding. Everything is brand new in the place,' added Mr Byrne.

The shop is fully stocked with the latest novels, cards for all occasions, gifts, sweets, children's books, a back to school department, stationary, and a big toy section for kids of all ages.

The county Wexford business is also located on Court Street in Enniscorthy and on 31 North Main Street in Wexford town.
