ÍON ( are a new Wexford start-up who have created a unique wellness programme that's simple, deliverable and meaningfully contributes towards the goal of feeling good at work.

ÍON herbal tonics were developed by Wexford person Dr Aoife Kelly to address common workplace challenges such as stress, fatigue and sick days.

A science graduate of Oxford University, Aoife gave up her high-powered engineering job to start ÍON. The company is supported by Enterprise Ireland and ÍON have just secured their first Wexford corporate client Aircon Mech, who signed up to ÍON wellness programme for a year.

Aoife said that Using herbal medicine in the form of a ready-to-drink tonic, companies have the opportunity to support the health of their employees with ÍON tonics and each month they receive a pack of tonics to their desk.

'I created these tonics to help people and I'm receiving fantastic feedback. Having a client like AirconMech is hugely encouraging,' said Aoife.

Other subscribers to the ÍON programme include Bluefin Payment Systems and EirGen Pharma in Waterford. The zingy herbal remedy is also available at Lloyds Pharmacy and The Natural Health Store in Wexford.
