A new chapter was written in the success story of Senator Windows as Wexford Mayor George Lawlor officially cut the ribbon on their new state-of-the-art showroom at the company's Seaview Industrial Estate base. It was a proud day for all associated with the Wexford company, which has been a major employer locally since 1985.

Under the leadership of Managing Director Owen Power, the company currently employs 80 people at its factory and offices, with another 120 Senator representatives in the dealer network.

Staff were delighted to welcome new and old customers into their new showroom and show them just why Senator has sold over a million windows and doors to date.

Not content to sit on their laurels, the Senator team was keen to ensure the new 2,000 square foot showroom adjacent to the manufacturing facility was finished to the highest standard and this investment follows hot on the heels of the launch of their new website senatorwindows.ie.

'It made perfect sense to build a modern showroom next to our factory,' said Managing Director Owen Power. 'We have a very proud and committed workforce and we want to showcase their skills and passion for giving consumers what they want. Doors and windows are a significant purchase that people may only make once in their lifetime. We wanted to create a showroom that reflected our commitment to their project, by showcasing a wide range of products that will meet their requirements and exceed their expectations.'

Cllr Lawlor congratulated the entire Senator Windows team on all their success over the past 34 years and hoped that they could continue to grow in the future. Also in attendance at the opening were County Council Chairman Michael Sheehan, Cllr Ger Carthy and Minister of State Paul Kehoe, all of whom were impressed with the new facilities and wished the team all the best.

As well as having the opportunity to take a look at some of the products on offer, customers availed of special offers on the day and Architect Denise O'Connor was on hand to offer advice to customers and provide 15 minute consultations on how to make the most of your windows and doors.

All in all, the event was a great success and, thankfully, the future seems bright for Senator Windows.
