Work is progressing on the first exclusive Dacia showroom in Ireland, which will be located at Menapia Motors and is due to open in November.

Menapia will operate the only such showroom in the country and will be one of just a handful in Europe.

The Wexford love affair with the Dacia brand has seen booming sales of the Dacia Duster, Sandero and Logan MCV models since its introduction to Ireland back in 2012. Indeed Menapia Motors Dacia were named Dacia Dealer of the Year in 2017 in recognition of their sales and customer service performance.

The new state of the art showroom and modern workshop is a huge investment in the Dacia Brand in the South East and will be located next door to the Renault Showroom.

The expansion of Menapia Motors has been in the planning stages for the last number of years and the purchase of adjoining property in Kerlogue Business Park has allowed the successful dealership to grow its Dacia business.

Paul White, Sales Manager at Menapia Motors DACIA, said: 'It is an exciting time for the Dacia brand in Ireland with a new model Dacia Duster SUV model coming in late 2018. We hope to be able to launch the new Duster in style in Ireland's first stand-alone Dacia Showroom in time for 191 orders.'

Brian Quinlan, Business Development Manager for Groupe Renault, said: 'We are thrilled to see this level of investment in the Dacia brand and look forward to the showroom opening in the coming months. This will be the first standalone Dacia showroom in Ireland and indeed one of very few in Europe. Menapia Motors are making a massive commitment to the Dacia brand and we are certain that this leap of faith will bring increased business and importantly a fantastic and exclusively Dacia customer experience.'
