Wexford mass for Caitlin mirrored her funeral in USA
A MASS took place at Rowe Street Church on Friday evening to commemorate the tragic death in the USA of much-loved Caitlin O'Hara, the daughter of Wexford man Nick Hore.
The Wexford Mass coincided with the burial in her home city of Boston of Caitlin who died last week after a double lung transplant and following a long and hard battle with Cystic Fibrosis.
Her aunt, Frances Hore-Kehoe, said the lives of her family and friends 'will never be the same again without Caitlin. She was an inspiration to us and Caitlin was a great example of how life should be led.'
Frances said her brother Nicky and sister-in-law Maryanne 'my mam Eileen, my brothers, sisters and Caitlin's cousins would like to thank you all for all the prayers, texts, phone calls and everything that was given to help Caitlin. We are very humbled and that Caitlin's life touched so many people.'
Caitlin last visited Wexford in 2013 to celebrate her 30th birthday.
Her father grew up in Davitt Road North, where her grandmother Eileen still lives. Caitlin had been diagnosed with CF when she was just two years old.
