Home remedies for everyday problems

By Clair Whitty - Naturally Healthy

People often tell me about remedies and solutions to their everyday problems. These are simple solutions that don't cost a fortune. Some of their tips made me smile, although I cannot guarantee that they will work, the people who told me were very enthusiastic about them.

Peppermint essential oil is brilliant for keeping spiders away. Simply add a few drops to a spray bottle and spray the area to keep them away.

Haemorrhoids commonly known as piles are very common, sore and uncomfortable. Several people have told me that Helios Aesculus cream can help. They get good relief from the discomfort caused by piles.

Warts can be difficult to clear up. One mother was fed up of going to the doctor with her young son who had a cluster of warts on his hands. The doctor froze them but that didn't work. The warts showed no sign of clearing. She got a regular lemon, nothing fancy, and rubbed the lemon juice into the warts every day for three days, and after that the warts were gone.

To clear a skin tag one man tied a piece of string around the base of the tag, left it for a few weeks. The skin tag dropped away. Not sure if I would try that myself. Another person told me that they put cider vinegar on the tag, covered the tag with a plaster. They repeated it daily and it eventually fell away. I think I would prefer this solution myself.

A home remedy worth trying for heartburn is sodium bicarbonate, or bread soda. Add a teaspoon to a glass of water and sip. Not tasty, but it works for lots of people.

A lady told me to put a bar of soap into the bed for cramps. I have no idea how or why this would help, but it did, she couldn't believe it when it worked for her.

Fresh garlic under your pillow may keep the vampires away, but can also help you get a good night sleep according to one very happy lady.

Fact of fiction? A good question, they worked for these people so they're worth a try, nothing to lose. If they don't work for you there is always something else to try. Keep on looking for natural solutions to your everyday health problems.
