In reaching number one with 'How Deep Is Your Love' in Britain and Ireland, Take That managed to do something that writers the Bee Gees failed to do. Their 1977 original, which featured on the soundtrack of 'Saturday Night Fever', peaked at number three in the UK and two in Ireland. In the United States however, the Bee Gees did top the Billboard Hot 100 with 'How Deep Is Your Love' as it became the first of six consecutive No. 1 hits across the Atlantic for the brothers. For Take That, this cover of 'How Deep...' was their final number one until the 2006 comeback.
