A feast of hurling talent!
Young talented hurlers from county Wexford came from far and wide to take part in this year's Noel O'Brien U10 tournament in Buffers Alley GAA Grounds, which was once again an outstanding success.
Now in its 19th year, the tournament, which is held in the memory of the late Noel O'Brien, has gone from strength to strength since its inauguration thanks to the cooperation and support from family and club members.
The mini-games got under way Saturday morning, and the 200 participants were all winners. Family members Darren and Edel O'Brien presented medals and goodie packs to the young boys at the end of the day.
The participating teams played a number of games, watched by family members and grandparents who came along to cheer on their grandsons.
PRO Mary Foley said they would like to give a special mention to Hammel's Centra Kilmuckridge for their sponsorship. 'Well done to this year's organiser John Moran and his team of workers who put in many hours ensuring the day went smoothly,' she added.
The following clubs who took part were: Glenealy, Naomh Éanna, Askamore, Buffers Alley, Oulart-The Ballagh, Rapparees, Mount Leinster Rangers, St Martin's, Glynn-Barntown, Monageer-Boolavogue, Shelmaliers, Faythe Harriers and Ballynastragh Gaels.
