CARDS The next card game will be on Friday 31st December in the Community Centre at 9pm there will be no catering on than night. Catering the following Friday 7th January 2011 will be: Kathleen Barden, Maura Barden and Siobhan Hynes will do the catering. There is €220 in prize money on offer and proceeds go to Parish Funds. Wishing all card players a Happy and Peaceful Christmas.


The annual appeal raised €912 which has been forward to Mr Pat O'Neill of St Vincent De Paul Society. Those who were unable to contribute to the recent collection can contact Pat on 053 9244404 if they would like to make a donation or help in any other way. Thank you for your generosity.


To date the annual harvest festival has raised a total of €76,600 since it was first held in 2002. Various local charities have benefited from funds raised.


Our best wishes go to Parishioners who are now residents in various nursing homes. Over the Christmas holidays we might make a visit to them as it would be much appreciated.


As we approach the end of the year Fr Robert Nolan would like to thank all who have contributed to the weekly collection during the year. Please make whatever contribution you can to your Church. Thank you.


There was no Jackpot winner in the recent draw with winning numbers as follows: 2,9,15,19. The following two players matched three numbers: Senan Lillis and L. Cloake. The next draw will take place on Monday 3rd January 2011 in Cullen's Lounge, Adamstown for a Jackpot of E12,550.

2011 calendars in aid of New Ross Community Hospital are currently on sale in Cullen's Shop in Adamstown at a cost of €10.

The calendar comprises of all local scenery by award winning nature and wildlife photographer Edno Delaney from New Ross.

Images include a spectacular view of Landscape from the Pink Rock, Inistioge on a frosty morning, the JFK Arboretum, St. Mullins, Hook Head as well as shots of butterflies, a kingfisher and a robin at Christmastime.

Your support would be greatly appreciated and all funds raised go directly to the hospital.
