Adamstown National School Parents Association would like to thank all those who supported our recent bag packing fundraiser in Dunnes Stores, Enniscorthy, over the May bank holiday weekend. €1,209.36 was raised for the school which will fund school activities such as gymnastics, swimming, dancing, buses etc.

CARDS

The weekly "30" Card Game continues in the Community Centre this Friday 20th of May at 9pm. Thanks to the ladies for the teas last week, Catering on the night will be: Cathy O'Gorman, Bridget O'Gorman, Ann Stafford, Kay Whelan and Agnes Whelan - Kellystown.

COMMUNITY GAMES

Track and Field trials will be held on Thursday at 8.00p.m. for all kids in the Adamstown area of Community Games, qualifiers can go forward to the county community games on Saturday 11th June in Craanford. For more details contact Ellen on 0872375793.

SHOW LAUNCH

A meeting to launch the new €1,000 Invention Class for this years show kindly sponsored by Ulster Bank will take place this Thursday 19th May in the Community Centre.

All members are asked to attend this important meeting and please note the meeting will take place at 9pm Sharp.

OPEN GARDEN

The Egan Family, Barmoney will open their Gardens to the public to raise funds for the Wexford Branch of the Alzheimer's Society on Saturday 21st and Sunday 22nd May from 11am to 6pm. Also featuring are Craft Exhibitions, Cake Stall, Teas and Raffle. Your support will be very much appreciated.

DEFIBRILLATORS

A meeting will take place in Adamstown Community Centre on Wednesday 25th May at 8pm to discuss Public Access Defibrillators (PAD) for the community. Everyone is welcome.

COLAISTE ABBAIN

Colaiste Abbain Parents Association would like to thank all who supported the cabaret in Cullen's Lounge. The total to date came to €1,001.89. Your support was very much appreciated.

BOXING CHAMPION

Congratulations to Aaron O'Brien, Oldcourt, Adamstown who won the Leinster Championship Boy 2, 36kg Title in boxing recently. Well Done Aaron.
