ATHLETIC CLUB The Athletic club is hosting the Leinster Cross Country in Rothwell's field on Sunday 13th November for the third year in a row, around 1500 aspiring young athletes are expected on the day. The weekly "30" Card Game continues in the Community Centre this Friday 21st-october at 9.00 pm. There is €220.00 in prize money on offer each week. Thanks to the ladies for the teas last week. Catering on the night will be: Mary Kirwan, Cait Bradley and Josephine Hendrick – Barrack's Road. Catering for the following Friday 28th October will be: Ann Booth, Nancy Lambert, Betty O'shea and May Larkin Adamstown. Proceeds will be going to the Parish Funds.
