The weekly '30' Card Game continues in the Community Centre this Friday 28thOctober at 9.00 pm. There is €220 in prize money on offer each week.

Catering for the following Friday 4th November will be: Maureen Bradley, Kathleen Delaney and Denise Harler - Glenour. Proceeds will be going to the Parish Funds.

Winning numbers were - 7, 21, 25 and 28. There was no jackpot winner. There were six match three winners who are as follows: Emma Whelan, Johnstown; Margaret Cash, Knockreigh; Abbie Banville Dalton, Littlecullenstown; Edmund McCabe, Rathsilla; Francis Sinnott, c/o Bus Eireann and Mary Fortune, Doonooney. The next draw is worth €4,600.00 and the seller of the winning ticket will receive €460.00. The next draw will take place in the Cloch Ban, Clonroche on Monday 31st October 2011. All proceeds go to Adamstown FC, Adamstown GAA and The Parish Committee.
The Athletic club is hosting the Leinster Cross Country in Rothwell's field on Sunday November 13 for the third year in a row around 1500 aspiring young athletes are expected on the day. El Paso will provide the music for our November dance in Camross Hall which will be held on Friday 4th November from 10.00 pm to 12 midnight. Come and dance the night away and enjoy the tea and brack all for €8.
LADIES FOOTBALL CLUB
Adamstown LFC will hold a Halloween Fancy Dress in Cullen's Lounge, Adamstown on Sunday October 30th at 9pm. Admission ?3.00 with Door prizes and D.J. Please support your local club.
Well done to the Intermediate hurlers who won the County Championship on Saturday 15th October in Wexford Park, on a score of 1-7 to 0-8. They now move up to the senior rank for the 2012 season. The U10 boys were narrowly beaten in the Semi-Final of the Sarsfield League last weekend. In Rackard League the Girls were also beaten by a few goals in the Quarter Final's in Taghmon on Tuesday October 18. The Rackard League boys played their final match in the Group against Fethard-on-Sea on Tuesday 18th and won on a score of 0-13 to 1-6 in Fethard-on-Sea, they are now in the County Semi-Final.
The U-12 are playing in an indoor Tournament in Grantstown on Tuesday October 25 . They have five matches over the next ten weeks, the best of luck to all involved. The U-6, 7 and 8 Footballers played in their final in Horeswood on Sunday 9th October and came away with two wins out of three games. Big thanks to the three trainers for the U6, 7 and 8 for their year's work - Kevin Bates, Sean Furlong and Robert Kehoe.

Congratulations to Lorcan French, Oldcourt who got man of the match after Adamstown were crowned the Intermediate hurling champions in Wexford Park on Sunday November 15. Lorcan is also celebrating his 21st birthday this weekend and John Whelan, Kellystown is celebrating his 21st birthday this weekend also.
