Paisti Beaga Preschool
We had a lot of fun in our preschool in February exploring culture and diversity and creativity. Our p=C3=A1ist=C3=AD beaga learnt about diversity, and how we may have differences, in appearance, our clothes, our likes and dislikes, our families and our culture, and how we are also all the same on the inside. We celebrated the Chinese New Year, we made beautiful chinese lanterns and learnt about movement in our red ribbon dancing, and we made lovely Valentines Cards to bring home to our families.
We also embraced our creative sides. We learnt about different artists, and looked at some beautiful paintings by Kandinsky and Jackson Pollock. We learnt about different painting styles, and we had great fun trying action painting, abstract painting, cave painting and pointillism. We also tried to paint like Michelangelo. We listened to beautiful classical music while we painted, and we have never seen our room look so colourful with all of our artwork. We have a fun packed March planned and we can't wait to share our news with you again at the end of the month.
