This weeks Lotto numbers in the Crossabeg/Ballymurn GAA draw were 23, 25, 28 and 29. There was no winner and one match three winner; Brian Foley and family. This weeks Jackpot stands at €10,000.

The Intermediate hurlers beat Cushinstown in the League on Sunday last on a 1-12 to 0-5 scoreline. The Junior B hurlers played out a draw with Askamore also in the league, the final score being 1-12 each. The Intermediate hurlers play away to Gorey on Friday next, March 20 at 8 p.m. ( note change of date) while the Junior B's play away to Liam Mellows on Saturday at 4.30 p.m on Saturday. The minor hurlers play Abban O'Rahillys in Adamstown on Sunday at 11 a.m.

The club dinner dance and medal presentations in association with the Ladies football club takes place on Saturday, March 28 in Ferrycarrig hotel. Music will be supplied by "Something Blue". Tickets now on sale at a cost of €25. Why not go along and help both clubs celebrate a very successful 2014.

DVD`s of the clubs "strictly club dancing" night are now available at €10 each. To order a copy, please contact John Cummins. Memberships are now due, adult players €100, students and non- playing members €50, all mentors, adult and underage €50.

Training for U12 footballers will start in the Ballymurn pitch this Thursday, March 19 at 6.30 p.m. Hurling training will commence on Saturday, March 21 at 11.30 a.m. New players are always welcome. When evenings get longer, it is hoped to change training days.

Ladies Football

A reminder to all Crossabeg/Ballymurn Ladies football club members that the football season has started and the training times for teams are as follows:-U12's on Wednesday's from 6.30-7.30 p.m. in Ballymurn; U14's on Monday's and Wednesday's from 6.30-7.30 p.m. in Ballymurn; U16's on Wednesday's from 7.30-8.30 p.m. in Ballymurn; adults on Wednesday's from 7.30-8.30 p.m. and Saturday's from 6.30-7.30 p.m in Ballymurn. These are the times generally but sometimes they will change and managers will inform their teams if this arises. All new members are welcome, either call to the field on training evenings or contact club secretary Ann Doyle.

Crossabeg/Ballymurn Ladies Football club will hold a registration day on Sunday, March 22 at Ballymurn pitch from 11 a.m until 1 p.m. Membership for the year is € 30 for the U10's and under: €50 for the U18's and Under and €70 for adults

The next Over the Water vintage club road run will take place on Sunday 12th April. It is in aid of Ballymurn Church funds.

Youth Club takes place every Friday night from 8pm to 10pm in Ballymurn Hall.

200 Club

Many thanks to all who have supported our 200 club draw. Our draw for Fully paid up members took place on 6th March and the 2 lucky winners of €200 each were Eamonn Cullen and Fr Hugh O'Byrne.

Fashion Show

A Fashion Show, in aid of Bree Community Centre, will be held in the Riverside Park Hotel on Tuesday, next March 24th at 8.15pm. Tickets are on sale at Hotel Reception, in Bree Shop or from any committee member. All proceeds go to the Bree Community Centre Development Fund.

GAA Dinner Dance

The Ballyhogue GAA Club Dinner Dance will be held this Saturday March 21st at 8pm in the Riverside Park Hotel Enniscorthy. Music on the night will be provided by The Tee Jays. Tickets cost €25 and can be purchased from any committee member. A great night is guaranteed.

Bree Monster Bingo

A Monster Bingo with €5000 in prizes will be held in Bree Community Centre on Easter Sunday Afternoon, April 5th at 3pm. All proceeds go to the Bree Community Centre Development Fund.

Bree Macra

Well done to the Bree Macra Basketball team of Stephen Donohoe, Darren Long, John Healy, Michael Long, William Spratt-Murphy, Andrew O' Donohoe and Mark Waters who won the County Basketball Final recently. Next up for the club is the County Volleyball Finals, due to take place Sunday March 29th.

Other upcoming events on the calendar include a U-bet and Titles night in Enniscorthy and Bubble Soccer in Wexford. Bree Parents' Association

Bree Parents Association would like to thank everyone who helped with and supported the recent 'Used Clothing Collection'. €403 was raised for the school. This will go towards the purchase of educational toys and books. The next collection will be in June.

Bree ICA Daffodil Day

Bree ICA is taking over the organising of Daffodil Day in Enniscorthy which is on Friday March 27th. If anyone has any fresh daffodils to spare all donations would be gratefully appreciated no matter how small, they can be left in to the Legion of Mary Hall in Enniscorthy on Thursday 26th March between 5 and 8 pm or alternatively they can be left into Breda Donohoe, Bree (087 6310951) during the day (before 5pm).

Best wishes to club athletes taking part in the National Finals this weekend. Registrations for 2015 are now due. Indoor Training continues on Thursday nights until March 30th when all athletes resume outdoor training for the summer season. For further details contact Clare on 087-4151350.

Fashion Show

The school's first ever Fashion show fundraiser will be held in the Riverside Park Hotel Thursday 7th May. All tickets have been distributed to the children and we hope that all families will do their best to sell as many tickets as possible.

We have had some great support from local businesses in sponsorship and super raffle prizes for the night, so we can guarantee a funfilled night with some V.I.P. models taking to the catwalk on the night, Tickets are €10 and can be purchased from any of the P.A. Thanks to all for their support so far, more information in the coming weeks.

Parents Association

The next P. A. meeting will be held in the Big Tree in the village on Thursday 19th March at 8pm-a text will be sent out to all over the next few days. Please come along and join us plan activities for the children over the next few months.

Easter Egg Hunt

Oylegate Glenbrien Camogie Club will hold an Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday 4th April from 2pm-4pm in Oylegate pitch. Cost -€3 per child. All are welcome. Please come along for an afternoon of fun and games.

National Hurling League

Oulart-The Ballagh's all-conquering camogie team, winners of the All-Ireland Senior Club-Championship recently will be presented to the attendance at the Wexford versus Waterford National League match in Wexford Park on Sunday 22nd March.

It is not often that a Wexford team wins an All-Ireland Senior title so all true Wexford and Oulart-The Ballagh supporters are encouraged to attend and give these talented players a rousing reception. Best of luck to our club representatives on the Wexford team and let's hope that a victory is on the cards!

Choir for Confirmation

Oulart Choir Master, Sean Hallahan has called a choir practice for Wednesday 18th March, beginning at 8pm, in St. Mochua's Chapel. The choir is preparing for Confirmation on Saturday 28th March and all singers and former members of the choir are invited to attend.

A.G.M.

The Annual General Meeting of Oulart Community Centre will be held on the first Monday of April (5th), beginning at 8.30pm. The past year will be reviewed, financial statement presented and officers and committee will be elected for the coming year. Anyone interested in helping run the centre is asked to come along to the A.G.M.

Sale of Work

A Monster Sale of Work will be held in Oulart Community Centre on Saturday 21st March (after 7.30pm Mass) and all day on Sunday 22nd. Donations of goods for the Sale may be left in the Community Centre on Saturday 21st from 1pm. Items on sale will include Cakes, Bric -a -Brac, Toys, Children's Clothes (good as new), Books, Firelogs etc. The chief organiser of this event is Margaret Leacy and all proceeds will benefit local concerns.

Dates for your Diary

The pupils from Second Class in Scoil Mochua had their First Penance, last week and will make their First Holy Communion on 9th May. The pupils from fifth and sixth classes will receive the Sacrament of Confirmation, in St. Patrick's Church, on Saturday 28th March.

Seachtain na Gaeilge

Despite the inclement weather on Wednesday 11th March, "Seachtain na Gaeilge" in Oulart was marked by moving indoors, to St. Mochua's Chapel for the talk on Oulart, The 98 Village, delivered by local historian and author, Brian Cleary to 16 intrepid enthusiasts who were informed, inspired and entertained for up to 90 minutes before repairing to Oulart Community Centre for light refreshments where plans were made to visit An Screig (Oulart Hill) at a later date.
