There was no winner of last week's jackpot of €5,100. The winning numbers were 6,18,23,24. Congratulations to the 12 match 3 winners who each receive €25. Dates and times for the Rathangan Annual Patrons are as follows: Sunday 9th August, Rathangan Old Cemetery (after 11am mass). Monday 10th August, Killag 7pm, Kilcowan 8pm. Tuesday 11th August, Duncormick 7pm, Ambrosetown 8pm. Saturday 15th August, Rathangan (new cemetery) mass 1.30pm
Rathangan Parish Council will be looking after the maintenance of Killag and Ambrosetown graveyards in the coming days.
A Charity Drive in aid of Wexford Hospice Homecare will take place on Sunday the 9th August at 12.30pm, from Ballymagyr, Duncormick. For more information contact Paddy on 086 3344815.

The Golden Eagles
The Golden Eagles visited Druids Glen this week for our Jubilee Course and a fantastic day was had by everybody in glorious weathe. John Doyle edged out Johnny Doyle for 1st place on countback and Fred Curtis coming in 3rd. Stephen Bennett also won the Birdie club on the day.
A lovely meal was had afterwards in Jack Whites for everybody except the 2 who forgot to take the right exit. Now its back to the monthly competitions. Good luck all.

Forth Walking Group
The Wednesday evening walks for the month of July are as follows: 22nd July-KilmoreQuay; 29th-Tintern. All meetings at 7pm
A tractor run will take place in Cleariestown on Sunday 26th July at 1pm. Registration is at 12 noon.
6K Trip to Cullenstown
The Phil Murphy weekend are holding a 6K trip to Cullenstown Run on Friday 24th July at 7.30pm. Starting in Carrig on Bannow village entry is 10 euro in advance or €15 on the night. To enter call 0857740751.All welcome come and run walk or crawl.
Fitness Summer Camp
MACFIT PT & Fitness is running a summer camp this year in Rathangan. It is a themed sports camp to keep your little lads/ ladies fit and healthy. There will be plenty of variety for the kids. The camp is for boys & girls aged 7+.
It is reasonably priced at €55. The children will be made aware of healthy eating and the choices they make along with fun and exercise elements involved. Duncormick Area Action Group has once again entered this year's Tidy Town's Competition with judging from June-August. We are appealing to everyone to help us in obtaining better results this year and be proud of our village. We would also like to ask everyone to use the litter bins provided in the village.
Phil Murphy Weekend

SOUTH EAST STROLLERS
We meet every Monday evening at 7pm, (except Bank Holidays and weather permitting). During this fine weather we will meet every 3rd Monday at a different location. The Strollers receive a text message with relevant details.
We have some lovely trails and loops in Wexford all within a short distance. On the other Mondays we meet at Rathangan Hall at 7.00pm, stroll for 35-45 mins. We have a cup of tea/ coffee and most importantly a chat afterwards. We would like to invite anyone who would like to get out for a stroll/walk, who may have very low fitness levels but would like to get active and fit. Kilmore Scouts are holding a Cake Sale with Tea/Coffee on the Lawn after Mass in Kilmore Church on Sat 1st Aug,Sun 2nd Aug and in Mulrankin Church Sun 9th Aug. The Competition team will spend five days in Limerick and we hope to bring the other team for the weekend as they all trained together over the past year and the Junior team put in such a good performance in the County Competition. Your support would be greatly appreciated
Ballycogley Players Play reading committee of Fintan Murphy, Nick Hayes, Brenda Murphy, Con Doyle and Terence O Byrne are currently reading One Act Plays for the Autumn season. Readings for parts will be held in August with Rehearsals from September. Anyone interested in joining the group, acting, set building, backstage etc should contact Fintan on 0876812690.

Ballycogley celebrate 40 years of drama this year and hope to mark the occasion with a suitable function before the end of the year. Anyone with memorabelia, photographs, anectdotes etc should contact Nick on 0872605506. The group, suitabily attired,took part in the Opening Parade of the Seafood Festival on Thursday.
St Pauls A.C.
We had 3 athletes competing at Day 2 & 3 of the National juvenile track and field championships. Gergely Pap won bronze in the U14 Shot with a fine throw of 11.78 whilst also finishing 5th in the discus with a throw of 28.37m, within a metre and a half of third place! This goes with his 4th place finish in the hammer last week.
Tara Connick also won bronze in the U18 Discus not far off her PB with a throw of 24m. This was Tara's first national medal, a great achievement for the young athlete! Daniel Halligan, fresh off his 3rd place hurdles race the week before, was in action in the U15 High Jump finishing 5th with a height of 1.55m. Well done all!
This was a great year for our juveniles with multiple County, Leinster and National medals, new members, new PBs and huge potential going forward into next year. Training has finished for our juveniles for the summer. We commend the athletes on their hard work and dedication to training. We also thank the coaches, Eamonn, Peter, Leo, John and Tara for the continued work they put into the athletes. Finally we want to thank the parents for their support to the both the athletes and the club. Cross country training begins mid-August.
Finally our Road Race Online Entry is now open at www.active.com, check our Facebook page for details and link to the entry page. The race takes place 5th September at 5pm.

Cemetery Clean Up
In preparation for the Annual Patron ceremony due to take place on the 2nd August 2015 at St. Aiden's Cemetery , the committee have nominated the next two Tuesday evenings of 21st and 29th July for cleaning and preparation of both graves and surrounding areas. Weather permitting, work will commence at 7 p.m. All are welcome and your assistance would be greatly appreciated

Next Meeting: Note the change of date. Due to the Group annual holiday the next meeting has been moved to Tuesday, 8th September, 2015 at 3.00pm, at the Hotel Rosslare. There will be committee at 2.00pm at the same location. This year the holiday will be to the Castle Hotel, Macroom, Co Cork, on 31st August, 2015, with Joe O'Brien. Deepest Sympathy is sent to the family and friends of Nick (Busty) Morris, St Brendan's Estate, Rosslare Hbr and late of Mooretown, Bridgetown who passed away on July 5th at Knockeen Nursing Home. Nick had been in failing health for some time. To his sisters Lucy and Patty, sister-in-law Una, nephews,nieces, relatives and friends we offer our sincere sympathy.
Ronnie Lowthian, Kilrane, passed away on July 2nd. His funeral service was held in St Peter's Church Kilscoran with burial afterwards in St Aidan's Cemetary, Kilrane. Deepest
Sympathy is extended to his children Trevor, Gillian and Mandy, sons-in-law, daughter-in-law, grandchildren, relatives and friends.
Condolences to James Walsh and family Ard Na Mara and Trish Kavanagh and family St Brendan's Estate on the death of their mother Grace, Corish Park, Wexford, who passed away at Wexford General Hospital on July 7th. She was the beloved wife of John and mother to a large family. Grace was laid the rest in St Ibar's Cemetary, Crosstown after funeral Mass in Clonard Church.
