Let's make the road safe for all users this summer.

A huge congratulations to our clubmen Robert, Mark & Bobby Doyle who have returned from the World Handball Competition 2015 in Calgary, Canada. They did themselves, their club and parish proud. There hard work and training definitely paid off with their results. Bobby played some tough games at U11 One-wall, he gave great performances for his age, coming up against older lads.

Mark played U13 One-Wall and 40x20, again his competition was extremely tough and he had tough, close matches in singles. Mark also took part in the doubles in both codes and this was where himself and his partner Josh Kavanagh came through to claim the GOLD medal in 40x20 beating a Tyrone/Galway team. The boys didn't get this medal easy as it went to the 3rd game for them to become the eventual World Champions U13 Doubles.

Robert took part also in both codes but again it was in the 40x20 singles that he excelled. He came through his qualifiers with great results giving very few points away. His final was played on Thursday against Kilkenny man Willie Holden. Robert took the game 21-15, 21-4 to become World Champion in his division.

Carrying on a huge Family Tradition in handball the Doyle's have excelled again in this great sport. The club are very proud of Robert, Mark & Bobby.
