Community Lotto

Congratulations to Martina and Jell Codd as winner of last week's jackpot of €15,300. The winning numbers were 7,13,21,23. Congratulations to the eleven match 3 winners who each received €27.50. TRX/Pilates Classes

TRX Classes take place in the Club House every Monday and Wednesday evenings at 6.30pm and Tuesday and Friday mornings at 9.30am. For further details please contact Kevin Cogley on 086-3656233.

Pilates Classes take place in Cleariestown Community Centre on Tuesday evenings from 7.30pm to 8.30pm. Bring a mat, towel and drinking water. Cost is €8 and it is recommended to book a place. For further details please contact Teresa White on 089-4620552.


Sunny South East Strollers/Striders-We meet every Monday evening at 7pm, (except Bank Holidays and weather permitting. We would like to invite anyone who would like to get out for a stroll/walk, who may have very low fitness levels. We have starter strolls for the month of January where we can start off with 10/15 minutes, taking small rests if necessary.

The Strider Group will also meet at 7pm and walk for 35-45 mins. We have a cup of tea/ coffee & most importantly a chat afterwards. Women's Shed

This week in the Shed we are making Origami drawstring bags for travel makeup/jewellery. The planned flower arranging has been postponed for the moment. What's needed are two pieces of contrasting material 18x18 ins and sewing machine if you have one. New members welcome, meeting in Tomhaggard social centre from 10am to 1pm Mondays, Cost 5€, with Refreshments served. Exciting plans for upcoming activities, more details shortly.

Cúl Camps

This year's Kellogg's GAA Cúl Camp for both Boys and Girls covering Football, Hurling and Camogie will take place in St. Anne's GAA Club Grounds from Monday 18th to Friday 22nd of July. Children will get to learn GAA games from qualified coaches in a safe and fun environment. Children from 6 to 13 years can be registered online by clicking the following link . Cost of Cúl Camp this year is as follows: 1st Child €55, 2nd Child €45, 3rd & 4th Child €40 each. Shane O'Hanlon is our Camp Co-Ordinator this year.

Credit Union Quiz

Congratulations to the following students Eve Donohue, Ryan Schokman, Ella Benson and Shane Ryan, who represented the school in the Chapter Final that took place on Sunday the 28th of February in the Ashdown Park Hotel in Gorey.

Despite the difficult questions and facing the finalists from the first rounds we were delighted that the team from our school took home first place! €200 was the prize money for the school along with a lovely trophy. The National Final takes place in the RDS in Dublin on the 10th of April-we wish them the best of luck.


Huge congratulations goes out to Diarmuid Moore and Josh Kavanagh BU14 All Ireland Handball Doubles Champions in the 40x20 Juvenile Final defeating James Cummins & Enda Collins of Galway 7-15, 15-7, 15-10. Diarmuid is a member of St. Anne's Coiste na nÓg GAA Club playing at U14 Level in both Hurling and Football.

Lights-Can whoever turns the lights on make sure to turn them off please or if you are the last person/s to leave the Clubhouse turn them off. Don't assume someone else will.

Also when using the lights in Clubhouse every light does not need to be on, you only need the lights on is the area you are using.

Health & Safety-A busy GAA season is getting under way with training, matches and the increase of the public using the walking track, for health and safety reasons children are not permitted to kick football or hurl against the Clubhouse Wall and in the parking areas. Dogs are strictly forbidden in all areas of the Clubhouse, Club Grounds, Pitches and Walking Track.

With the potholes now filled on the driveways leading up to the Clubhouse please note it is not a racing track. On approaching the parking areas, dropping off or picking up children please be vigilant and expect the unexpected. Please Slow Down.

1916 Art Exhibition

As 2016 commemorates the centenary of the 1916 Rising, a series of exhibitions by Bray Artist Tony Clarke will feature newly commissioned images of the people from all walks of life who took part directly or indirectly in the events of Easter Sunday 1916. The focus of the art is on the personalities not the politics with an underlying tribute to the 'not so well known' people.

Rosslare Harbour Maritime Heritage Centre is delighted to host this unique exhibition in County Wexford. In keeping with this theme we will also feature project work undertaken by the pupils of 5th and 6th class of Kilrane National School who will showcase the work they have done to mark this very important event in Irish history.

The official opening will take place on Easter Monday at 2pm and all are welcome.

Easter Craft Camp

There is a Boys & Girls Easter Craft Camp in Rosslare Community & Sports Centre on 22nd & 23rd March from 10am-12:30pm. Booking Essential €5 per day. Soccer Sisters

Soccer Sisters Camp is in Rosslare Strand from 29th-30th Marchfrom 10am-2pm. Book online through FAI website €20-€25 if paid on day of camp. Camp includes jersey. This a great camp for girls 7-12 to learn to play soccer in a friendly, fun environment. The girls will be introduced to basic movement and soccer skills. They will learn the disciplines and fundamental rules of the game and will also have the opportunity to forge new friendships and develop interpersonal skills.

St Mary's Day Centre
