Farmers Market

We are excited about holding our first farmers market every Sunday in July and August from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Rosslare Community and Sports Centre, offering you fresh/homemade local produce from local people.


Every Thursday night is Family Fun Night at 6 p.m. in Rosslare Community and Sports Centre (free entry). Come along for a hassle free evening with different hot food vans each week, a variety of kid's activities and relax in our cosy indoor and outdoor seating area.

Gallery Opening/Launch

On July 23 from 6 p.m. View unique prints of Rosslare and Rosslare's fifth journal 'Rosslare in History 5' with an opportunity to purchase. Historian Brian Murphy and Editor Gerry Breen will talk about Rosslare and its History. Cheese and Wine Reception. Free Entry.

Rosslare field day

This year's Rosslare field day is set to be the best yet. NEW for 2016 we are bringing back the much loved game of 'Tug-o-War' great fun for everyone. Sign up on the day or get a team together and take on your opponents. Only €2 per person - overall winners receive €100 prize. All welcome; Individuals, Families, Clubs and Groups.

Join us for the best funfilled day out in Rosslare. We have delicious food stalls to choose from such as Tea and Coffee Stall, Shop, Pot Belly Van, barbecue, Pizza Van, Ice Cream, Fresh Donuts, Chip Van, Candy Floss and lots more. We have bouncy Castles, Climbing Wall, Archery, Amusements and Electric Zoo to keep the little ones entertained. There will be lots of stalls to browse through selling a variety of items. Local Charities will have stalls set up on the day - including the popular Cheese and Wine stall, cakes, bottle stall, barbecue and lots more.

Don't forget to bring your dogs along too because we will have the very popular 'Dog Show' with great prizes, registration on the day. We will be presenting 'THE WINNERS' of this year's Singing Pubs Award and to top it all off we will be showing the GAA Hurling All-Ireland Senior Championship on the big screen in the centre at 2 p.m., so make sure you stick around.

Lollitots news

Lollitots Community Childcare will have their next Carboot sale on Sunday, July 31, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Scoil Mhuire. Cars €10 and vans €15. We are also holding Carboot Sales on August 7, August 14 and 21.

Our summer camps are running everyday over the summer for children aged 3-7 and 8-12, with qualified childcare staff.

We have now launched our split-the-pot draw around the village. Cost €2 entry and draws are every Monday night. Please contact Lisa for further information 053 9132770.

Tidy Towns

Our current programme is control of litter and weeds and we would ask the Community as a whole to help us with this task. If there are any black spots or areas of concern please phone 086 1257487.

The Best Kept Estates Competition will be judged during the last week of July so we would ask Residents of all Estates to be extra vigilant within their Communities.


St Mary's Day Centre

St Mary's Day Centre have a few places available Monday, Wednesday and Friday for anyone interested in joining us for a bit of socialising and a lot of fun. We also do a meals on wheels service for only €6 for a three course meal freshly cooked and delivered to your door, call 053 9132624 for details.
