The Junior B women also played at home to Crossabeg B on Tuesday evening, this game resulted in a well deserved win for this young team.

On Wednesday evening the under-14 pink team travelled down to an unbeaten Bannow-Ballymitty, this game was one of this teams best performances so far which resulted in the town girls taken home the win and securing their place in the cup semi-final on August 2.

On Thursday the minor girls travelled up to Bunclody for their semi-final, however, the girls fought hard and came within two points of the opposition but Bunclody were just that bit stronger and secured their place in the final.

On Friday the under-16 girls played the last round of the league v Shells, for some of the under-16 girls this was their third game in three nights, despite this the girls dug deep and played some outstanding football up till the final whistle which resulted in the town girls secured their well deserved place in the cup semi-final which takes place on August 29 V St Martin's.
