Rosslare Tidy Towns

We continue with our cutting back and general autumn clean-up, we are also working through the many suggestions and ideas that have been made for next year.

For sure lots of people are anxious that we step up our efforts relating to dogs on the Beach during the summer Season particularly within the area protected by the Lifeguards. We are currently researching on how this is managed in other locations and we hope to put together the Best Practices so that we can have discussions with Wexford County Council. Car parking and the lack of official spaces is another hot topic.

Next year marks the 60th Anniversary of the National Tidy Towns Competition which is some achievement, it is our intention to mark the occasion in a Special way for Rosslare so if anyone has any ideas on how best to do this we would love to hear them. Meanwhile we continue with a regular Litter Pick around the Village and on the Beach, All help is welcome.

Tagoat Church Auction Committee would like to sympathise most sincerely with Fr. Glynn's family and his many friends on his sad passing. Fr. Glynn looked after us all for the last twenty six years. He will be sadly missed. May he rest in peace.
