Art Exhibition

Murrintown Community Centre will hold its annual Art Exhibition on Sat/Sunday, October 28/29 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the opening reception on Friday, October 27, at 7.30 p.m. Come and visit this inspiring exhibition of art by local artists. Coffee Morning

This Thursday, September 28 is community coffee morning time again, in OLI. Community Hall from 10.30 to midday. All welcome to come along for cuppa and chat, all free!

Congrats Saoirse

Well done to Saoirse Bates, Our Lady's Island, who captained Wexford to the under-12 Leinster Football title in Portlaoise recently. Saoirse also won the under-12 County Football Final with St Fintan's to complete a great double with club and county. A special thanks goes to Declan and Niamh Devereux and Colm Callerey, who managed the victorious St Fintan's team, their commitment and effort over the past few years has been instrumental in the development of Saoirse reaching these successes.

Youth Club

Our Youth is back every Friday night from 7.45 to 9.30 p.m. First years up in Secondary School welcome. Next Friday, 29th Septembet is Registration Night. You must be accompanied by parent for registration. Looking forward to another season. Youth Club is very important to keep our youth talking and meeting friends. New Leaders over 18 very welcome.

County semi-final

After the recent District Final success, our Junior B Footballers will look to build on that win when they take on Naomh Eanna this coming Saturday, September 30, at 2 p.m. in Hollymount. Please do come out and cheers on the lads. Good luck to all players and management.
