Church news

This year, on the weekend of November 2/3, all families in the parish are invited to join with us, in Barntown Church, as we plant daffodil bulbs in the church grounds.

In this small act, we will journey together through the mystery of created life this winter and on into spring - remembering the past, cherishing the present and putting our hope and trust in the future.

At Masses on this weekend (7 p.m. Saturday, 9 a.m. and 11.15 a.m. Sunday), families will be invited to take a bulb at the church porch, have it blessed during the Mass and then leave it for planting in the grounds during the following week.
